IGLRC 2016 – Call for papers
We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the 10th Annual International Graduate Legal Research Conference (IGLRC) hosted by the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London.
The conference will take place on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th April 2016. In order to mark the occasion of the 10th Anniversary this IGLRC will be themed around The transnational legal landscape: challenges and opportunities. This theme has been inspired by the research focus of the Transnational Law Institute at the Dickson Poon School of Law and we hope that it facilitates the exploration of issues across a wide variety of legal topics.
The deadline for submissions is 10th January 2016. Abstracts of 300 words should be submitted via our website: http://www.iglrc.com/. A panel of academics will review submissions and successful applicants will be notified by 5th February 2016. The final deadline for full articles of 6,000 words will be 14th March 2016.
We accept papers on the full range of legal topics including but not limited to:
Commercial Law
Competition Law
Contract Law
Criminal Law
Criminology & Criminal Justice
Environmental Law
European Union Law
Human Rights Law
Intellectual Property Law
Legal Theory / Philosophy of Law
Medical Law
Public Law
Public International Law
Tort Law
Transnational Law
If you are not submitting a paper but would like to attend the conference, you will be able to register online from the 1st December 2015. The cost of registration is £50 and you must register for both days. There are a small number of places reserved for LLM students at a reduced price of £30.
