Established in 2012, Seoul National University Asia-Pacific Law Institute (APLI) is the first of the Korean research institutions specifically dedicated to the laws and legal systems in the Asia- Pacific region. The activities are to organize annual international conferences as well as a series of domestic workshops and conferences, produce legal publications and materials, and build a region-wide network of lawyers and scholars in the Asia Pacific. The Journal of Korean Law has been published semiannually, and serves as a prime source of English articles concerning the Korean legal system.
